Food Distribution

Weekend Wrap

1. Saturday we distributed over 100 sacks of groceries to those who were in need! One man told me that they had NOTHING to eat in their house until we gave them groceries.
2. There were about 20 volunteers who helped to hand-out groceries...love the heart of Crosspointers.
3. Sunday Morning 2 people accepted Christ!
4. 99.9% of our church-community committed to doing a Random Act of Kindness for someone they don't know this week. We've been called to be harvesters! We are the combines of the Kingdom:)
5. I am royally enjoying our Connection Group for men called Maximizing Manhood. I love the men of Crosspointe. You are such a strong contingency in our church community!6. I only missed two picks in my weekly NFL picks. I even picked the Lions to end their losing streak!
7. You don't want to miss this weeks gathering at Crosspointe!

Weekend Wrap

We had an awesome weekend at Crosspointe.
Saturday we had about 20 people volunteer to serve at Ada's Boys and Girls Club painting walls, tearing out walls, and cleaning up junk. I love serving! Beyond the Walls is awesome!

Church was amazing. First, the Band rocked the house...I love the flow that we're in right now. The video was great too and many people responded to my sermon on "Living out the Will of God." It was a great day!

I'm glad the NFL is back. I am really enjoying this fall weather, football, and fairs...I love fall!

Invite someone to church! This weekend is going to be awesome!

More Pics from Friday...

Beyond the Walls

On Friday many of our Serve Team gathered to provide lunch to Ada High School students in recognition of the home opener when Ada hosted Ardmore. We were able to serve about 200 students and teachers hot dogs, chips, and drinks. Although the volunteers of our church did the work we had much cooperation from local businesses. Thanks to Bates Electrics for allowing us to use their "tricked-out bus"...it was a huge hit!!! And, thanks to Vision Bank for allowing us the use their grill/smoker and the local Pepsi Distributer for donating 300 cans of pop!!!Here are a few pictures...
