Weekend Wrap

+Awesome day at Crosspointe yesterday.

+We hosted Dr. Buddy Bell who founded Ministry of Helps International and he did a great job encouraging people to serve! We have a great church filled with awesome volunteers!

+Connection Groups are awesome. 16 showed up for our College Connection Group.

+Last night we were part of something brand new - One Worship which 6 churches gathered for worship. It was simply awesome! Wow, the church united is an unstoppable force!!!

We had an awesome morning at Crosspointe...

- It's great having a great First Impressions Team who love serving people!

- Worship was awesome today! Our band is so good.

- Preached the second part of "Going All In."

- 2 Rededicated their lives to Jesus!

- Many responded to the call to rid their lives of "lukewarmness"!!!

- Had a great crowd!

- Got to connect with several new people.

- Had a great fundraiser for Kenya Cupps who attending the Next Generation Internship Program in Oklahoma City at Church of the Harvest. We raised over $1000.00 for her!!!

New Things

This Sunday I will kick off a new series entitled, "Going All In," which will indetify "lukewarmness" in our lives and will encourage you to passionately pursue God. This is going to be an incredible four part series and you don't want to miss one week as God is moving mightily amongst His people!

I am excited about UNPLUGGED which is a new gathering on Wednesday nights here at Crosspointe! It will begin September 2 at 7:00 PM and will offer accoustic worship, communion, and a teaching of Ephesians. Beforehand, we will have a Fellowship Dinner at 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall.

Weekend Wrap

We had an awesome weekend here at Crosspointe Church! Here are a few of the highlights!

1. We had tons of kids and families as guests who attended VBS!!!

2. Shelley our Children's Co-Director baptized 7 children!

3. Friday and Sunday nights Jennfer and I did nothing, which was awesome!

4. Loved sharing the message "Go Serve." Now let's live it out!!!

5. We redesigned our Lobby to allow more room for people to hang-out. (Moved most of the furniture out).

6. I am so excited about launching a new series called "Going All In," this next Sunday. We're ridding what C.H. Spurgeon called "lukewarmness" in our lives!!!
