Friday!

Friday! I love that word because it means that I and our staff get a day off! I love what I do and I can easily commit every hour of every day to the work of the Lord, but once a week I have taught myself to take some time off to relax and spend time with family! I think today we may go to Walmart, the park, and visit a swimming pool!

We've had an incredible week at Crosspointe as we've hosted STUIDO GO VBS! We saw 30 children accept Christ!!! That is 25 percent of the children who attended this week! In addition, I am so grateful to the many volunteers (over 65) who served each night. There have been people who have been volunteering to get things prepared for over two months and your hard work is so appreciated.

This Sunday is KIDS SUNDAY! We do this every year to allow our children's ministry to lead the Sunday Morning Gathering. Sunday is going to be awesome as children lead songs, greet, usher, and I'm baptizing at least 7 children!

STUIDO GO MONDAY NIGHT WRAP

Although it rained all day and we had to move all games inside, last night at Studio Go VBS was simply amazing as over 85 children were encouraged to become leaders in God's Army!!! Using the story of Gideon they were taught that "with God" anything is possible and many children responded to the call of becoming a leader!!!

I so apprecaite the way that our church rallies around the 'next' generation by serving them through an over-the-top VBS. We had over 50 volunteers!!! Tonight will be even better! Registration and a free dinner starts at 5:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall, pre-VBS games begin at 5:15 PM, and the Main Event kicks off at 6:00 PM in the Main Auditorium.
