Weekend Wrap

I'm glad to be blogging again after taking two weeks off. My family spent last week in Branson, MO and the place where we stayed had no internet which meant no blogging or working. It was actually kind of nice to be free from technology. But, I'm now back in action now!

Today I concluded the series, "The Heart of the Matter," which I felt was a great series for our congregation. Pastor Scott and I tackled the issues of Greed, Pride and Lust which are living in peoples hearts! We learned that those issues corrode the heart and therefore corrode all of life since the scripture teaches that all of "life" flows from the heart! Anyway, those final two sermons will be uploaded to our website soon.

Two people accepted Christ today. We'll have a baptism soon for the many people who have recently made a decision to follow Christ!

Before church I had the opportunity to lead the Senior Adult Connection Group which was such a joy. We have the absolute best Seniors at Crosspointe and love spending time with them. I inspired me greatly.

I am so pumped about next weekend as we will be hosting Elijah Tindall! He is a Professional Comedian and Evangelist. Please invite everyone you know to attend next Sunday!
